That doesn’t mean I wasn’t monitoring video-worthy news like what happened over the past few weeks in St. Louis sports. Of course, the biggest story in St. Louis/Midwestern sports was that their Cardinals have won the World Series for the year 2011. They beat the Texas Rangers in a 7 game classic that just about saw it all. The Cardinals story ever since the latter portions of the month of August has been worthy of a Hollywood script. Who knows, maybe the idea is being pitched to Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, or Martin Scorsese now. At the end of August, they were 10.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves for the Wild Card. The Bravos of the ATL seemed poised and ready to win the Wild Card. But, the pitching for the Braves (the bullpen in particular) began to tire down as the season entered its home stretch. The Cardinals took full advantage of this and engineered one of the biggest late season comebacks in MLB history. A similar feat was pulled off in the American League with the Tampa Bay Rays. It was for this reason why many said that it could be a Rays/Cards Fall Classic because sometimes, the hot teams beat the best teams. Until you receive actual notice that they have ALREADY filed suit, the credit card collector is LYING. Even AFTER they win the lawsuit, they can’t actually seize a car without a SEPARATE court order. Not even the IRS can seize retirement accounts under current law.

I made this for my Dad’s 65th birthday to also celebrate his retirement. Inside I used quotes about retirement along with some 3D features. The verse is in the tiny envelope, and our message is written on a couple of the inner flaps. So pleased with the result.

Hey guys, time to show my…less then social side if you will. A long time ago, i was an amazingly huge yugioh guy, and quick frankly, i don’t know why. I do realise that the game takes more strategic knowledge and thinking than people take it for, but i just had no one to play with, so i retired from it… So yeah, this is the deck that i retired with. It’s primarily Elemental Heros and then i added a bunch of Warriors and other types of monsters to support my Elemental Heros, such as Jinzo and Neo Spacien Grand Mole. It’s really diverse and it has won me a bunch of duels at national championships and at local card events. Although, i have lost my share as well. Enjoy and you know, i might even inch out of retirement to post a couple of duels with friends. Who knows. Anything can happen. 43 Cards -21 Monsters -14 Spells -Traps 7 Fusion Monsters *This deck was created and retired before the Ban/Limited List of 2009…so it’s not my fault, i didn’t follow the ban lists therefore Banned cards are still in my deck…i think Call of the Haunted…not sure.
